Covid-19 Update

We are still open, and deliveries are continuing!

October 4, 2021

Werner Electric Supply continues to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and will adhere to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), state and local health officials, including following all applicable laws and emergency orders.

At this time, Werner Electric operations, including services, deliveries, training courses and events, will continue as normal while we maintain responsible health and safety standards.

Thank you for your continued support and teamwork as we all work through this challenging situation.

July 10, 2020

In order to continue to provide you with excellent service while maintaining responsible health and safety standards, all Werner Electric locations except the Fond du Lac and Kenosha locations will remain as Curbside Pickup Only at our counters.

Our standard delivery options are also available to receive product in a timely and efficient manner.  Orders can be placed via email or phone.  If you are utilizing our Curbside Pickup option, please call the number posted on the door at the time of arrival and a Werner associate will bring your material to you.

Werner Electric is adhering to the recommendations from the CDC, state and local health officials as well as following all applicable laws and emergency orders issued to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

May 13, 2020

As we closely monitor and work within the COVID-19 pandemic, we consistently consult with our customers, business partners and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In utilizing information and feedback from those discussions, we have made the decision to CANCEL our large in-person events in 2020 such as Werner Electric Branch Counter Days and our Executive Leadership Series: Tackling Technology.

In contrast, in-person training and customer engagements with less than 8-10 people will resume as of June 1, 2020, where we can safely follow social distancing guidelines, and safety rules, keeping our customers and employees safe. Where possible, we have changed the venue for our classes to our Auditorium, a room with over 100-person capacity. Nearby restrooms do not require moving through office areas. Box lunch will be served to eliminate shared utensils. Hand sanitizer and face masks will be provided.

April 10, 2020

After closely monitoring the potential impact of the coronavirus, or COVID-19 outbreak, we consulted our business partners and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and have decided to postpone all in person customer training through May 31st, 2020, until further notice. If applicable, Werner Electric Supply will convert in-person trainings to an Online Live format. Either way, we will contact training attendees with additional information on how to participate. For more information, please visit wernerelectric.com/training-events

As the effects of the COVID-19 remains fluid, we will decide whether to hold training courses scheduled beyond May 31st as the COVID-19 situation develops.

This decision was made after thoughtful, detailed consideration. Training courses are being postponed to ensure the health and safety of our guests and all Werner Electric Supply employees. We are disappointed, but as the COVID-19 situation evolves, it has become difficult to guarantee a healthy and safe environment for our attendees, even with heightened precautions.

We appreciate your patience and support. Thank you for being a valued customer and partner.

If you have questions on technical training courses, contact Lawrence Ortner, at [email protected], or 920-815-1202.

Dear Valued Customers,

Werner Electric Supply’s response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Please know that Werner Electric Supply is continuing every effort to support our customers’ needs in this time of uncertainty, along with prioritizing the safety of our customers, business partners, employees and communities. We want you to know that we are in this together.

We are closely monitoring information from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19. We are enlisting all recommended precautions from these agencies to help control the spread of COVID-19.

To date, several of our suppliers have communicated that availability for some of their sourced products may be affected by the COVID-19 outbreak. As we receive these important communications from our suppliers, we will notify affected customers immediately and provide alternate product solutions to the best of our ability, to meet your needs.

We remain open for business and fully committed to supporting you and your business in spite of this challenging situation.  We have implemented numerous actions and policies to minimize interruption and help ensure business continuity.

Implemented Actions:

The actions listed below have been taken to protect employees and minimize business disruption:

  • Working Remotely – We have enabled a high percentage of our employees to work remotely to protect each person’s health and wellbeing.  Doing so will also minimize the risk for employees who cannot work remotely.
  • Events – All Werner Electric Supply events scheduled through the end of April 2020 are postponed. This includes but is not limited to; Werner Electric University, all customer training events and all customer counter days.
  • External Meetings/Visits– We have asked employees to cancel in-person meetings and instead utilize virtual (telephone, video) meetings with customers, vendors and other outside business partners. We have instructed our sales personnel to limit visits to customer locations; the only exceptions being discussions deemed “business critical” by both Werner Electric and the customer.
  • Onsite Meetings – We have discontinued all on-site meetings at Werner Electric office locations with any non-employees. Instead, we have instructed our employees to re-schedule these meetings for teleconference and/or video conference. We require a health-risk questionnaire to be filled out by external parties and approved on a case-by-case basis by Werner executive management for exceptions to this policy.
  • Video Conferencing – All Werner Electric facilities are equipped with video conferencing capabilities and rather than travel to locations, all employees are encouraged to use video conferencing as an alternative.
  • Social Distancing - To reduce the spread of COVID-19, our employees have been asked to limit their interaction with anyone outside their home and work environments and adhere to CDC recommended cleanliness practices.
  • Daily Disinfecting – We have instructed our office cleaning personnel to disinfect all high-touch points in our offices to help limit the spread of the virus.
  • Counter and Will-Call Needs – We have closed our counter desks to external visitors. Instead, we have asked customers needing product to call ahead and we will arrange curbside pickup of needed product.

We understand the coronavirus situation continues to evolve. Werner Electric Supply will continue to monitor any new information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the outbreak. In turn, we will provide updates as new information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience, support and for being a valued customer. We are in this together… Our commitment to you remains as strong as ever!

March 17, 2020

The event was scheduled for Wednesday, March 25 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, at the Radisson Hotel and Oneida Casino. We will communicate rescheduling information later.

March 13, 2020

Dear Valued Customers,

Werner Electric Supply is closely monitoring information from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19. Our focus is to ensure we meet customer needs while doing our part to keep our customers, employees and communities safe.

To date, several of our suppliers have communicated that availability for some of their products may be affected. We are consistently corresponding with all of our vendors. If we receive any additional communication from suppliers that there has been a disruption in product availability, we will notify affected customers immediately and provide alternative product solutions to the best of our ability to best meet customer needs.

We understand this continues to be a rapidly evolving situation. Werner Electric Supply will continue to monitor any new information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in regard to the coronavirus outbreak. In turn, we will provide supply chain updates as any new information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience, support, and for being a valued customer.
