Major General Paul E. Knapp

Maj. Gen. Paul E. Knapp is Wisconsin’s Adjutant General. He commands the Wisconsin National Guard and is responsible for Emergency Management. He also serves as Wisconsin’s Homeland Security Advisor, chairs the Homeland Security Council, and serves as the senior state official for cyber matters.

Maj. Gen. Knapp holds a master’s degree in technology management from the University of Maryland and a political science degree, with a Japanese minor, from the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado. His military education and training includes Squadron officer School at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama, Air Command and Staff College, Air War College, Joint Strategy War Course, Reserve Component National Security Course, Combined/Joint Air and Space Operations Senior Staff Course, and Air Force Senior Staff Course.

Maj. Gen. Knapp entered the Air Force in 1992 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. On active duty, he served as a Special Agent for the Air Force Office of Special Investigations prior to attending navigator training at Randolph AFB, Texas, and Pensacola Naval Air Station, Florida. He served two operational tours as an F-15E Strike Eagle weapon systems officer and one as an air liaison officer to the U.S. Army in South Korea. He separated from active duty in August 2003 and joined the 95th Airlift Squadron of the 440th Airlift Wing, General Mitchell Air Reserve Station, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, flying the C-130H Hercules.

Maj. Gen. Knapp has over 3,000 flight hours including 681 combat hours and more than 262 combat sorties supporting operations Allied Force, Northern Watch, Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom and Joint Task Force Horn of Africa.

Prior to his current assignment, Maj. Gen. Knapp was the Mobilization Assistant to the Commander of Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico. He directed the Air Force’s nuclear modernization, acquisition and sustainment programs with more than 1,300 personnel at 18 locations worldwide. The center is responsible for the lifecycle management of nuclear weapons systems supporting two legs of the nation’s nuclear triad, including intercontinental ballistic missiles; air-launched cruise missiles; gravity bombs; and nuclear command, control and communication systems. He also performed alert duty as an Airborne Emergency Action Officer in command of the battle staff aboard the Airborne Nuclear Command Post which provides survivable, mobile command and control of U.S. nuclear forces in support of the Commander of U.S. Strategic Command and the President of the United States. Maj. Gen. Knapp also previously served as the Mobilization Assistant to the Director of Operations and Communications, Air Force Global Strike Command, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.

Mike Bayer

Mike resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is the Global Portfolio Director for the Lifecyle Services Business for Rockwell Automation.  He has strategic responsibility for the Lifecycle Services business including Network and Cybersecurity Services, Workforce Services, and Asset Optimization Services.

Since 2002, Mike has worked for Rockwell Automation in various roles and capacities. He has a wide breadth of experience ranging from domain expertise in Motion Control, PLCs and Networks, to business leadership in Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Low Voltage Drives, and Lifecycle Services.  He is familiar with various Industrial Automation industries and applications including packaging, automotive, food and beverage, water/wastewater, mining, oil and gas, and chemical.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.

Robert Hubbard

Robert Hubbard, a San Diego resident, is the North American Industrial Channel Manager for Cisco. Hubbard joined Cisco in 2016 to lead a dramatic leap forward in the way Digital Transformation and Cyber Security technologies are leveraged for Industrial markets.  Since then, he has formed key alliances to deliver line of business solutions for clients, established new economic models and routes to market.  His team has been involved in many of the Cisco Digital Acceleration and Lighthouse City projects in the Americas.

Prior to joining Cisco, Hubbard led the development of HPE's Big Data Channel in the Americas.  His work brought big data analytics, governance and compliance capabilities to HPE’s go to market strategy through Service Providers, Architect & Engineering firms, SI's, Developers, Resellers and Consultants.  Starting in the private sector with some of the largest clients in the Bay Area then moving on to develop public sector and federal markets across North America.

Hubbard started his career as a United States Marine before moving to the civilian sector.  He has been involved in information management and technology for 30 years.

Lindsay is the Central Zone Corporate Team Lead for Marsh’s US Cyber Practice, a role in which she supports the placement of $45M annual premium in Cyber/E&O programs for more than 500 organizations. She is directly responsible for a full range of advisory and placement services to clients with complex cyber, technology and services risk. 

Lindsay brings to Marsh over one decade of insurance brokerage experience with a proven record of people management; strategic program development; and negotiation and placement of complex insurance programs across multiple lines of business. She joined the firm in January of 2021 and sits in Chicago.
